I think I have may walked into a home decorators heaven this past weekend. Seriously, if I was not moving in a couple of months to New York I have a feeling that I would be spending a ton of time at M&M Antiques & Collectibles in Monroe, WA. I can't remember the last time that I went to an antique store that was this jam packed with so many perfect items. Not only were there tons of beautiful pieces but the way everything has been curated and presented is simply marvelous! I will warn you that you may need to be prepared to spend a little time just wandering and soaking it all in before you even begin your shopping. Oh and did I mention that the prices are quite affordable.
If you are concerned about making the drive to Monroe because yes for many of us it is a little out of the way. I will tell you that it is a perfect Saturday adventure. You can grab breakfast at Sky River Bakery, visit the quaint book store, and there are a few more little shops. Please note many of the stores don't open till 11am, so maybe plan on breakfast being a little later or just skip it and go straight to lunch (I have heard there is a really good Mexican restuarant on Main St.).
